The 33rd Annual general meeting of Nigeria catholic diocesan priests Association (NCDPA) took place from Monday 25th to Friday 29th October 2021 at st. Leo’s Catholic Church Ikeja Lagos. The opening mass of the Holy Spirit was celebrated by Archbishop Alfred Adewale Martins the Bishop of Lagos Archdiocese on Tuesday 26th October at St. Leos Catholic church Ikeja Lagos. The welcome address were given by very rev. fr. Matthew Ogunyase, the chairman NCDPA Lagos Ecclesiastical province and outgoing national president, very rev. fr. Sylvester Onmoke. The invent witnessed the election of National Executives at the business meeting held on Thursday 28th October, 2021 at St. Leo’s hall Ikeja Lagos at which our own very Rev. Fr. Dr. Johnbosco Ezehi from Uromi diocese, Benin province was elected as national president. Others elected are as follows: vice president Rev. Fr. Justine Teswang from Shedam diocese, Jos province, Secretary Rev Fr Vincent Ilah from Kotangora Diocese Kaduna province. Assistant secretary Rev. Fr. Paul Effiong from Calabar Arch diocese Calabar province, Financial secretary Rev. Fr. Gabriel Dav from Gboko diocese Abuja province. Treasurer Rev Fr. Gabriel Oyebola from Abeokuta diocese Ibadan province . auditor 1 Rev Fr. Augustine Ogbonoko from Onitcha Arch diocese, Onitcha province auditor 2 Rev Fr Magnus Nwanbosi from Aba diocese Owerri province and PRO Rev. Fr. Joseph Ogodo The closing mass which took place at st leos catholic church ikeja lagos with all priests delegate in attendance was celebrated by the newly elected national president very Rev. Fr. Dr. Johnbosco Ezehi on Thursday 28th October 2021 at which the new excos were officially presented to the public by the outgoing national secretary NCDPA, Rev. Fr. Francis Ikhianosime from Auchi diocese.
