The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, as part of the restructuring of the State Executive Council for greater efficiency, has approved the redeployment of Engr. Jonathan Lawani as Commissioner for Special Duties with immediate effect.
In a statement, Secretary to the Edo State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq., noted that Engr. Osasere Evboumwan, formerly Commissioner for Special Duties, has been moved to the Ministry of Environment and Sustainability.
He noted that the move is in line with the Governor’s resolve to improve efficiency in public service and optimize capacities to deliver optimal results in service of Edo people.
“The Governor wishes the commissioners the best in their new assignments,” Ogie added.
