The governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has told the governor of Bayelsa State, Diri, to be ready for the repercussions of daring to criticize his flyover constructions in Rivers State. Nyesom Wike stated that he saw Diri on television as he was saying that in Bayelsa State, the money spent on the construction of three kilometers of road can construct 15 flyovers.
Nyesom Wike was of the opinion that governor Siri’s statement was directed at him due to his numerous construction of flyovers in Rivers State. Nyesom Wike stated that since governor Diri has touched him with his statement, he should be ready to take whatever he see.
Nyesom Wike said that he prefers to be quiet but some people will not allow him to sleep. Wike also said he starts to tackle those who looked for his trouble, Nigerians will start talking about him. Wike also maintained that governor Diri spoke about River State as if Rivers State does not have a riverine area. Wike said that he has equally constructed roads in riverine areas where cars find it difficult to move on.
