The Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, office in Owerri, Imo State, has been stormed by several unknown gunmen.
At least three suspects were killed in the attack, which took place on Monday morning, according to NEWS DIRECT.
The Nigeria Police Force officers and other security personnel in the area are said to have resisted the gunmen who attacked the facility in huge numbers.
Three of the criminals were reportedly killed, while one was apprehended alive, according to sources.
